The Buzz

Ahh, Spring! The symbol of rejuvenation, of rebirth, of rejoicing in another winter behind us. Coincidentally, Spring is also the anniversary of our book club.

Yes, it was this time last year that we decided to give this a try and we're still here! Thanks to all who stuck around, especially Lorna in Jamaica who almost always bought our book selection and joined us in the chat room. Also, thanks to those who visited from time to time.

So, the experiment continues with some items of note:

  • Submit poetry, fiction, essays, and book reviews to a new magazine on the Web.Scrivener's Pen

  • Join us in the chat room on Sunday, May 20, 2001, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. EST, to discuss House of Sand and Fog by Andre Dubus III.

  • Remember to vote for our next selection or go to our message board to suggest a book.
